For computer and network consulting services, Advanz Information Technology serves only at New York City, and its neighboring cities. However, we offer worldwide services for web designing, web content writing services, and ghostwriting services.

I’m a certified Microsoft Systems Engineer (MCSE for NT 4), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP for Windows 2003 and XP), Apple Certified Systems Coordinator (ACTC OS X 10.4), Apple Certified Systems Administrator (ACSA OS X 10.4), Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist (ACHDS OS X 10.4), and A+.

My interest for computers started in 1990, when I bought a computer for my business in the Philippines. When I migrated to US in 1992, I brought it with me as the most precious thing I could bring to US. I found it later, however, that even though it was very expensive (P52,000.00) in the Philippines, it was already a very old model in America. To make use of its value, I used it for self-learning in configuring, troubleshooting, and building computers while I was babysitting my youngest daughter in1993. After that, the rest is history. Now, I’ve been in the information technology field for almost 20 years, from the first time I bought this computer in the Philippines. Below is my IT-related bio:

I have 15 years of actual experience in working with computers, servers, Internet, and networking devices. Five years of which was permanent full-time employment as network administrator, and 10 years as consultant for consulting companies.

I’ve worked in medium-sized to large projects of IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Bear Stearns, Wall Street Access, Royal Bank of Canada, Merck Medco, Oxford University Press, and New York City Board of Education.

I’ve directly supported hundreds of executives in their technical problems on their computers. I’ve assisted hundreds of onsite and remote users, by phone and with the help of remote connection softwares.

My IT experiences are a mixture of being a team player and a team leader. I could lead technical people, and I could be technician or support person who could do and resolve many problems at the same time, like a multitasking processor of a computer.

I’m a writer by heart. I started writing for school paper when I was a high school editor-in-chief of our school organ. In college, I received two scholarships for managing a campus paper (as Associate Editor), and the whole university’s official publication (as Editor-in-Chief).

I’ve been a comics magazine scriptwriter in the Philippines from 1978.  When I migrated to US,  I finished fiction writing workshop at Gotham Writers (1995, New York City).  I finished also an eight-week screenwriting workshop at New York Film Academy (2003, New York City).
